Public Health Practitioner Programme

A support programme for practitioners to develop portfolios to enable registration on the UK Public Health Register (UKPHR) as a Public Health Practitioner.

Application to the register requires demonstration of knowledge and experience through the compilation of a portfolio - at a level broadly equivalent to the third year of a first degree. For more information see the UKPHR's standards for registration.

The programme works with practitioners wishing to develop professional portfolios offering them a range of support through continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities and mentoring, including support in self-assessment, collating evidence and demonstrating competence. Trained mentors and assessors are available to guide and assess portfolio summaries and evidence.
