Making Every Contact Count eLearning

As well as the Making Every Contact Count Healthy Conversation Skills (HCS) face-to-face training there is an online eLearning programme. This gives staff background knowledge to enable people to change their lifestyles.

We recommend MECC trainees complete the eLearning after attending MECC 1 and before attending MECC 2. This will allow trainees to develop their knowledge from MECC 1 and allow for reflection on the eLearning knowledge during MECC 2. See the train the trainer page for more information on the face to face training.

The eLearning consists of four modules that each takes 20 minutes.

  • Module 1 - Introduction to Making Every Contact Count
  • Module 2 - Introduction to Skills
  • Module 3 - Introduction to Lifestyle Topics
  • Module 4 - Information, Signposting and Your Organisation

There is an assessment after each module to assess learning. All four modules need to be completed.

Learners are responsible for making sure they have a record of their learning through printing or taking a screenshot of their certificates and taking them to their Making Every Contact Count face-to-face skills training sessions.
